Our extra-curricular highlights
Duke of Edinburgh program
From Year 8, our secondary students have the opportunity to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh program. This program includes volunteering, sporting activities, learning a new skill or hobby and several adventurous camping journeys.
Sewing for charity
Our secondary students have the opportunity to volunteer in the community on a regular basis. One option is sewing for charity which operates after school once a fortnight. Under the guidance of our sewing teacher and community volunteers, students make various items to donate to hospitals and local organisations.
Major excursions
Each year, students from Year 3 to 12 have the opportunity to join our major excursions which are heavily subsidised to make them affordable for families. Opportunities include trips like:
- Stargazing at Coonabarabran
- Dolphin encounters at Coffs Coast Adventure Centre
- Outdoor fun at the Great Aussie Bush Camp
- Visiting sites and learning the history of Sydney CBD
- Exploring our national capital in Canberra
